Description

NGC3521 - The Bubble Galaxy

A rather small target for a focal length of just over 1m. It lies 35 mio. light years away in the constellation of  Leo and isn't as known and frequently imaged as the Leo triplet, which is about 15° from this target.
While the characteristic bubble shape of the stellar streams is visible in this image, the outer shell barely was visible in the 13 hour of lum.
I guess I need more integration time and a bigger scope ;-)
